ABOUT US
Seed of Light was founded by Pedro and Ana Paula Marques in 2020 in Roscommon.
Pedro and Ana Paula have been donating food and clothing for several years through the ministry they co-founded, Light for the People Ministries.
Week after week, they saw an increase in demand for food and essentials such as personal care and cleaning products. Weekly, the Marques family delivered food and other products door-to-door to families in Roscommon and neighboring towns.
Through Seed of Light, Pedro and Ana Paula, along with their team of volunteers, hope to reach more families each week, preventing the loss of tons of products that go to waste each year.

HOW CAN YOU PARTICIPATE IN A VOLUNTEERING PROGRAM
We provide, collect, and distribute food, clothing, toys and other products through the help of generous companies and anonymous donors committed to helping the needy residents of our community.
We are driven by the conviction that no man, woman, or child should have to go through the terrible, degrading, painful and lonely experiences caused by shortages of food and other basic necessities.
We believe that by identifying waste in our supply chains, we can help companies manage excess while meeting the needs of struggling people.
